Stephen Leroy Turner, of Excello, MO, went to be with his Lord, Sunday August, 20, 2017 at his home. Stephen was born May 18, 1949 in Thomas Hill, MO the son of Wallace Leroy and Doris Turner.
Steve was a graduate of Salisbury High School, Class of 1967. He served in the Navy on a nuclear submarine from 1968-1974. He received a nuclear engineering degree from Pocatello, Idaho. He was employed from 1982 and retired from AMEREN Union Electric in 2004. Steve was a longtime member of the Fulton Lions Club and served as the Missouri district governor 26B of the Lions Club in 1998. Stephen was active at the Timberlake Christian Church in Moberly, Missouri.

Steve is survived by two sisters Susan Turner of Keytesville, MO, Kristen (Jeffery) Peters of Keytesville, MO. Two brothers Nicholas (Cheryl) Turner of Columbia, MO and Mark Turner of Keytesville, MO. Four nieces Heather (Doug) Kruessel, of Salisbury, MO, Lacey Peters (Gabe Hall), Armstrong, MO, Erin Turner (Nate Christensen) of Eldon, MO, and Chelsea Turner of Los Angles, CA, and five nephews Dustin (Erilyn) Turner of Salisbury, MO, Christopher Peters of Cummings, GA, Ryan (Jessie) Turner of Columbia, MO, Kyle Turner of San Jose, CA, Alex Turner (Molly Jackson) of Ashland, MO, two aunts Shirley Keen of Nampa, Idaho, Ruby Gray of Nampa, Idaho, several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
